While our primary goal at Rowland Paint is to provide exceptional work, we also pride ourselves on our personal and caring approach to those we serve. We strive to cultivate strong working relationships with our clients and leave you happier than we found you. Sometimes that means small things, like us bringing in your newspaper for you. Other times it means encouraging you to absolutely go for that purple kitchen you’ve always wanted.
We are 100% women-owned and operated, and our hope is to inspire upcoming generations of women in Minnesota and beyond to discover the joy and satisfaction of a career in the trades.
Most importantly, we love what we do and we can’t wait to help you make the most of your space.
Born and raised in south Minneapolis, Jessica started in the trades as a kid hauling roofing to dumpsters for her father’s construction business. Through her teens and early 20s she helped out with larger projects and more skilled work and eventually started painting as a side job to supplement worldwide travel and gig production/event work. In 2015, Jessica’s list of happy clients and growing team led to a full-time business.

We primarily source our materials from Hirshfields. To browse paint chips and wallpaper books, find a location near you. We are open to other brands not carried by Hirshfields, so let us know what you have in mind.
We do not install most Type II and Type III papers and rolls wider than 30 inches.
We are not masking in our client’s homes, unless specified otherwise. In an effort to limit the spread of any illness, we will not work if we are sick. Likewise, if you are sick or have been in recent contact with someone who has been sick, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule your project. We are monitoring the CDC and the State of Minnesota recommendations regarding COVID-19 and are making adjustments as needed.
